This weekend R and I went to Rendezvous, a Memphis barbecue tradition. Believe it or not, it was my first time at Rendezvous. The barbecue was good, but definitely not the best I've ever had. I think that Bozo's in Mason, TN is hands down the best barbecue I've tasted. If you are ever on 40 headed down to Memphis or where ever, it is totally worth it to stop by Bozo's. It's just a few exits outside of Memphis.

I have heard a lot about Rendezvous! It is definitely on my list when I get to Memphis!!!
This makes me sad! I'm headed to Memphis for the weekend of Thanksgiving and the Rendezvous is the ONLY place my boyfriend wants to go!
My dad loves Rendezvous, whenever any of us are in Memphis we pick up some of the rub for him.

Oh Pretty in Pink....cyberhugs to you! I do enjoy the Rendezvous, but I am especially partial to Bozo's too. I have eaten there with my family for...my whole life.
We went to Memphis over the summer. We absolutely loved the pulled pork and pulled chicken sandwiches, as well as the baked beans, but weren't as impressed by the ribs as we anticipated (clearly we were very, very hungry after a morning at Graceland).
If Memphis were only fifty miles or so closer, I swear we would run over to get more sandwiches on lazy Saturdays... Alas, it's just far enough away to be a day-long trip!
