We started out this wedding weekend with a pleasant surprise while checking into our hotel room- Claire had put together Mardi Gras King Cake's for her out-of-town guest favors! Being the sweets addict that I am, you better believe that I ate the whole cake as soon as we got up to the room, and no, I'm not kidding.

The bridal luncheon was so elegant and wonderful!
The wedding was a traditional Episcopalian ceremony and afterwords we headed to the Country Club for the reception. At the reception, traditional Louisiana food was served including red beans and rice, crawfish, hush puppies, and other goodies!
Overall it was a great weekend :)
The time is counting down for me as well. This week I will be getting my invitations and guest list to my calligrapher, booking an Elvis impersonator for my reception, ordering my favors, and taking my dress for my first fitting!
