I used to be addicted to Laguna Beach and the very first few seasons of The Hills, but after season 2, I really didn't watch The Hills anymore. The show is just so obviously scripted. After going nearly 2 years without watching it, I recently caught up and I can say that I am back to being addicted to the popular and crazy crew.

I really didn't like Kristin Cavallari when she first came on the show, but she has really grown on me. I like her laid back style, but her raspy voice and flirty demeanor really get on my nerves. I guess she's the girl that you "love to hate" and MTV does a great job as portraying her as such.

I just recently started watching The City on MTV. I can't help but be jealous of those young things living up in NYC and basically living out my dream career in fashion. I know everyone loves to hate Olivia Palermo, but I just can't get enough of her style or her hair.

She can be a little crude at times, but I honestly kind of like her!

Feng Shui

So after all of your all's great cleaning tips, I decided to take it one room at a time and rearrange some furniture this past weekend. I've always been confused about our living room layout and have never really known how to properly arrange our furniture.

If you've been reading my blog for a while, you might recall this post when we first moved in. A lot of you suggested that we move the TV to the corner of the room, but I never did. I decided to try it out this weekend and it totally changed the room. Before, the TV was completely blocking one of our windows.

I am so much happier with the layout. I also trashed our Pottery Barn seagrass rug. It gets dirty so easily and I have so much anxiety about cleaning it because the small rivets of the rug make it nearly impossible to clean. I also moved the couch to face the windows instead of directly facing the TV.

I also brought the orange Pottery Barn chair out of the guest bedroom (we originally had this in the living room, but I didn't like it after about a week and stored it) and made it work with the living room decor.

I hate Cleaning, yes I do!

I think cleaning might be my nemesis. I would rather do ANYTHING before cleaning. I put it off until it absolutely must be done before we look like we could be on an episode of hoarders. I am just not very organized at all. I wish I could be organized and be a crazy clean person, but so far that's just not happening.

We definitely have C.H.A.O.S- "Can't Have Anyone Over Syndrome". Our house is usually a mess and if someone wants to casually stop by I have to make up something like, "Oh, let me just meet you outside ... "

Do you all hate to clean? What helps you get motivated to clean, because I am desperate.

I am going to clean out my closet today and post some new things for sale either today or tomorrow so be on the look-out for that!

New Do'

I think I can finally say that my stylist matched my natural hair color perfectly! I also got a new hair style, which kind of reminds me of a Euromullet (the European women's hairstyle that was popular when I studied abroad in Paris).

I decided to get bangs again because I was desperate for a change. When you are growing your hair out it's easy to get tired of that "in between" stage and I think bangs and the new layers will help me get out of this stage.

In other news, we received our iPhone 4's yesterday and they are pretty cool! The facetalk feature is really neat, as well as the front-facing camera and flash. The design is more boxy, but I think it makes it easier to hold.

Leopard Love

I just can't get away from the Leopard prints! I think if this look is worn simply and tastefully, it can really look cute! Pairing it with basics such as black and neutral colors always guarantees a fun twist on a classic outfit.

Alternatives ...

To Diet Coke. I've been drinking the DC for YEARS and just recently over the past few months have decided to *try* to cut it out of my diet. Why? Not that it's bad for me, but because someone showed me pictures of rotting teeth that is caused by the acid in sodas. It really grossed me out, so over the past few months I have been trying to find alternatives to Diet Coke.
I have NEVER liked water. I just don't like it one bit. I would rather go without a drink during a meal than have water.

One of my favorite alternatives are the Crystal Light individual water packets. These are great and easy to mix-up. My favorite flavors are the pomegranate lemonade, raspberry lemonade, and raspberry ice.

Another alternative that I am trying to get into is this Vita-Coco Coconut Water. I'll admit that I don't love it. It has an odd taste. Yes, it's refreshing, but it really has taken some getting used to. I recently tried the one with pineapple and it is a little bit more tolerable.

What are some alternative to soda that you gals like?

Bieber Fever

So I have to admit, I have been adamantly opposed to this "bieber kid" ever since his tweenerific songs have been on the radio. Even though I love some good pop music, I just thought, "Gosh, this kid sounds like he's 6 years old trying to sing pop music ..."

That was until my Pandora radio station stumbled upon this little gem:

How can you not jam out to this song?

All of this led to me creating a "Bieber Fever" Pandora station. Now I can go hang with some tweens and talk about the Biebs, because I guess that's cool these days.

I am blessed with a great set of parents. My Dad is the best Dad out there! Here is a little poem for my Dad.

Addiction

{Miss P and Apple are trying to sniff this foreign substance on my face ... }

I am addicted to face masks. I may have a problem. I put on a face mask nearly every night. Do they work? I have no idea, but I like to think that they do!

Here are some of my favorite masks:

1) Natura Bisse Glyco Peel Extreme- after several people on Twitter recommended this pricey peel, I caved and seriously, I will continue to buy this product because it's simply amazing.

2) Darphin Clay Mask- this mask is great for moisturizing. I like to do this one the day after the peel because it adds moisture back to my skin.

3) Sisley Creme Gommante Buffing Creme- this is a great exfoliating mask, I like to do this one before I get a Versa Spa Spray Tan

4) Sisley Tropical Resin- amazing for breakouts ... I put this on a breakout area and it dries up by the next day.

5) Queen Helene Mint Julep- cheap and effective. A must-have for every beauty junkie!
