NYE?

We just recently made some last minute NYE plans. This is the first year in a while that we've actually had NYE plans. I am normally a proponent of staying in and not partaking in the hype and fixed menu prices, but this year I am breaking out of my shell.

In true fashion, I looked last minute for a sequin dress and decided to go with Rent The Runway. Because really, how many times will you re-wear a sequin dress? Probably not many times. I will be wearing this Haute Hippie Sequin Sheath.

Vlog + OOTN

I am having a vintage Chanel moment right now. I love the look of navy and gold together as well as the tassel.

I recently have a renewed love for Chanel's most popular fragrance.

I love the free sample of Sisley Supremya that I received a couple of months ago.

Starbucks gift cards are self-explanatory.

Our Tassimo is about to bite the dust and the options for K cups far exceed the ones available for the Tassimo.

David Yurman is self-explanatory as well.

Monday Thoughts ...

This was my "trugging" outfit this weekend. I wore orange J Brand jeggings, a Theory sweater and my trusty ole Uggs.

So, I have a bone to pick with you all. I have a good amount of "members" via the Google Friend Connect tool on the right hand side of this blog, but I have way less than half of that number on the PIPM FB page. Google is going to do away with the "friend connect" widget in March, so please go over and "like" the PIPM facebook page. I like to keep track of you all and love to be able to communication via FB, so get your butts over there and like it now! Okay?! No pressure.

I tried these two Kerastase products this weekend and LOVED them! I am also using the elixir leave in treatment. My hair felt like silk!

In which I wear a huge infinity scarf that doubles as a neck brace!

I was inspired by the photos I posted last week of chunky infinity scarves. I ordered this blue one from Etsy. I am wearing it with Rag & Bone jeans and J.Crew Leopard pumps.

Why do tripod photos look so awkward? I just can't get the height to be right or something. I'm still working on it.

I cannot believe Christmas is next week. Christmas snuck up so fast this year, more than ever. I am still not done shopping for Christmas presents. Oh well. Procrastination station right here!

Accuweather dot com released their Christmas snow forecast and looks like we will not be getting any snow. Boooooo.

I love snow. We don't get enough of it here in Memphis. Just once I'd love for it to look like this here:

I'm not talking some light little dusting. I want a full out snow storm.

I got a new fragrance last week. I decided on Bond. 9 Saks Fifth Avenue. I have wanted to try Bond fragrances, but just couldn't decide on a scent. What Bond fragrance do you wear?

Speaking of beauty products, did you all use the Sephora 20 dollar off coupon that ended yesterday? I got a new mascara and another smoky eye stick. I got a sample of the LORAC mascara.

I have been using an old dried up tube of Chanel's Imitable Intense. I am just not feeling it anymore.

While it does separate and lengthen, it doesn't volumize very well as seen above.

Are you all going to watch the NBC "Inside The Royal Marriage" special tonight? I definitely will be watching!

My favorite Slatkin candle scent right now is the Fresh Balsam. I am going to have to buy another one in a week's time if I keep burning this one.

Chill Out Playlist

So you all know I love me some weird music. One of my all-time favorite genres is chill-out/downtempo/lounge music. Sorry there has been a lack of posting this week. I am currently out-of-town for work and have been for the past week.

I ordered some Kerastase hair products after doing a little survey asking what brand people like the best. I am excited to try out the "green line" that was suggested to me for my hair type.

I just love SJP. She will always be Carrie Bradshaw to me. This outfit is so crazy, but I love it because I know it's something that CB would wear:

I have encountered quite a week with traveling. My rental car mini-van (I always request the mini-vans, a whole other story) broke down in the parking lot of an office yesterday. Thinking it was just the battery, I called Enterprise roadside assistance who sent out a AAA service vehicle. Turns out it wasn't the battery so the mini-van had to be towed and I will be getting a new rental today. I rent cars so much for work, this was bound to happen sometime. Anyone have any funny rental car stories?
